How are you able to offer these incentives?

Hotels, travel companies, restaurants, and other establishments contract with our company in order to provide these incentives. They offer these incentives to get people to use their services and see what they have to offer. This builds brand loyalty.

For example, hotels rarely experience full occupancy except during conventions, major holidays and weekends, so they contract with certain travel promotion companies, like us, to give the rooms away free, like with the 3 day, 2 night vacation certificates. This gets people to come and see what they have to offer. When hotels have empty rooms, they do not make any money, and it's a waste of a good room.

They have lost the price of the room regardless, so they let you stay for free in the hopes that you'll stay longer, eat in their restaurants, spend money at their in-house shops and casinos and take advantage of their amenities (spa, room service, etc.). And when you leave, after having had a great time, they hope that you'll come back to stay with them in the future and maybe even tell a few friends. This builds brand loyalty.

What types of hotels are offered?

The Vacation Certificates offer accommodations with quality hotels that are in the same class of hotels like Hyatt, Westin, Radisson, Holiday Inn, Best Western, Quality Inn, Marriott, Wyndham and Sheraton. The hotels are booked in and around the main tourist areas of the destination. The offer is based on availability, so the hotel the person receives depends upon which hotel is available for the travel dates chosen.

In the case of the 8 Day Resort Getaway Travel Certificates, they offer accommodations at 3-4 star resorts. The offer is based on availability, so the resort the person receives depends upon which resort is available for the travel dates chosen.

What size are the certificates when printed?

The travel certificates are the size of a standard 8 1/2 by 11 paper when printed. The border is gold if you are printing the certificates in color. Or you may choose to have no border at all.

Do the certificates have an expiration date?

No, the vacation certificates, as well as the others, do not have an expiration date. Each state has their own regulations relating to the expiration of certificate incentives. For this reason, these travel certificates do not have an expiration date and therefore are not subject to the restrictions imposed by some states. If you are using the certificates for business purposes, your customers can redeem them at any time.

Can I personalize the certificates to have my business name and/or website address on it?

Yes you can! You will be able to have what ever you want to show in the “Compliments of” area of the certificates. You can change this information as many times as you want. This is a convenient feature if you are using the travel certificates for your business. If you have more than one company, you can print separate certificates with each business name on them.

How does the yearly licensing fee work? What happens if I don't renew it?

The licensing fee is a yearly fee that is required to be renewed each year for the continued usage of the certificate. The yearly fee is not renewed automatically. You will  receive an email one-month before it expires to notify you of renewal. If the fee is not renewed, then you will not have access to the certificate.

Is there an additional fee to print out the certificates?

NO, there is no additional fee. You only pay a small licensing fee allowing you to print an unlimited number of certificates at any time.

Does my customer have to attend a timeshare sales presentation to receive the vacation?

A timeshare presentation or any other obligation is not required with any of the vacation certificates. There are no hidden conditions of any kind.

How many certificates can my customers redeem?

Your customers can redeem as many of the certificates as they want. There is absolutely no limit on how many they redeem.

Can I participate in the program if I live outside of the US?

Yes, you can. It doesn't matter where you live. You can enjoy these vacation and travel certificates, cheap hotel rooms and other deals from anywhere in the world.

I am in the Insurance, Financial Services & Real Estate Industry; does gifting my clients with your certificates violate my state ethics regulations?

GREAT QUESTION... No Worries!   There are very specific regulations regarding "gifting" your clients in these industries. We are not your lawyers but It is our understanding that if you were to use an incentive as a way to "bribe" a customer or anyone for that matter into sending you referrals it would be against regulation.

HOWEVER; if you use it as a gift after the purchase, just as a thank you to your customer, it is our understanding that this scenario would be in compliance. This was found directly on the RESPA website: Can a lender give a borrower an incentive, such as a chance to win a trip or a rebate, for doing business with the lender? RESPA does not prohibit a lender or other settlement provider from giving the borrower an incentive for doing business with it as long as the incentive is not based on the borrower referring business to the lender. Also, you can use incentives as lead generators to help boost response rates to your ads. I.E. "Find out what your home is worth get a No obligation home value report and receive a complimentary vacation certificate, No Purchase Necessary." You are not requiring anyone to pay you any money so this strategy would be in compliance.

We have heard that Insurance Companies cannot spend more than $15 on a gift for a customer. Since you pay one set fee for the year, to give away as many certificates as you need; how much did the certificate end up costing you if you factor your cost divided by how many you gave away during the year? Also, since your customer has to participate by sending in fees to receive the incentive gift, you are not actually giving them a vacation that you paid for. You are simply presenting them with the opportunity to take advantage of a really great offer if they are willing to participate. Since you are not purchasing the vacations outright, using our marketing incentives in these industries is compliant.
